Return Policy

Equipment returns and hardware conditions for U Tele Services customers.

This Return Policy applies to physical hardware and equipment associated with U Tele Services subscriptions. It does not apply to internet service plans, IPTV subscriptions, or OTT access — for those, please refer to our Refund Policy.

All return requests must be initiated by contacting our support team. Do not return any equipment without receiving prior authorisation.

Internet service plans, IPTV channel subscriptions, PLAYBOXTV / OTT access, and activation services are intangible digital services. As such, return of these services is not applicable. For refund eligibility on these services, please refer to our Refund Policy.

Routers, modems, set-top boxes, ONT units, and other equipment provided by U Tele Services during installation remain the property of U Tele Services at all times.

  • Upon Service Termination: All company-owned equipment must be returned within 7 days of termination of service.
  • Equipment Condition: Equipment must be returned in working condition with all original accessories (power adapters, cables, remote controls).
  • Failure to Return: Failure to return equipment within the specified period may result in a replacement charge being levied, or legal action to recover the equipment.

Damaged or Defective on Delivery: If equipment purchased by the customer arrives damaged or defective, the customer must report this within 48 hours of receipt. Upon verification, we will arrange a free replacement or repair.

Warranty Claims: Equipment under the manufacturer's warranty period may be returned for inspection and repair or replacement, subject to warranty terms. Warranty does not cover physical damage, misuse, or unauthorised modifications.

Change of Mind: Returns due to change of mind are not accepted for customer-purchased equipment.

All returned equipment must meet the following conditions:

  • In original working condition (unless reported as defective)
  • All accessories included (power adapter, cables, remote control, mounting hardware)
  • No physical damage beyond normal wear and tear
  • Free from unauthorised modifications or tampering

Equipment not meeting these conditions may be rejected or subject to a damage charge.
